

Roasting Class: Roasting Intensive
Our Roasting Intensive series is for the serious roasting student looking to gain a deeper understanding of the roasting process.
This 3-day course (Tuesday-Thursday) is a deep dive into the world of omni "medium" roasting. The goals of this course are as follows:
- To properly identify a range of acceptable development,
- To learn and understand the components of a roasting machine,
- To learn and understand the different tools we as operators have to produce acceptable development in our roasts,
- To learn how to produce roasts consistently.
This is a hands-on course that sheds light onto major areas of production roasting: green coffee analysis, roasting, cupping/quality control.
Other details:
- Included in the cost of the class is the cost of high scoring 85+ green coffee. Students are welcome to take home all the coffee they roast!
- A complimentary lunch will be provided on the second day of the class.
- Slides that are shared during the class will be emailed to the student at the end of the session.
- Each class will be 4 hours. There will be a 30 minute lunch break for each class.
Refund Policy: students are available for a full refund up until 1 week prior to the start time of their class. By purchasing this class, you acknowledge that you will not be eligible for a refund if you attempt to cancel or re-schedule your class within the 1 week mark.
