This late-harvest lot from Danche site is a nutrient-rich lot that exemplifies the best washed Ethiopian profile: watermelon juiciness is accompanied by Earl Grey Tea and Jasmine. A clean, refreshing coffee.
In the Worka-Chelbessa area, Danche site received about 1000 tons of red cherries annually. The station employs an Agard pulping machine which pulps the coffees, removes floaters, and passes the the parchment to clean fermentation tanks. After 48-72 hours of wet fermentation, the parchment is moved to raised beds and dried for 8-12 days.
