The Deep 27 is a steeper pour-over cone, a 27° bottom angle that builds a deeper bed of coffee, so water travels through more grounds on the way down for a rounder, sweeter cup. Ten petal-shaped ridges hold the paper off the walls and keep an air layer wrapped around the whole bed. That shape is also why it needs its own paper: the dedicated Abaca+ filter is the only one cut to hold that air layer against the narrow bottom. It's made from Abaca Manila hemp blended with wood pulp, so it's strong, elastic, and lighter on the planet, with a fine crepe that keeps the flow smooth and easy to steer.
